Down to Earth started as four guys doing a one-time event for their local youth group. Ryan decided to try and write a song and it went over pretty well and it has been amazing to see where God has lead D2E over the past 7 years. From local churches to arena's with over 15,000 people in attendance, D2E is still amazed at the doors that are opening every day.

The band is comprised of: Justin and Ryan Johns, Troy Nixon, Brandon Marin and Nathaniel Roberts. We have played in many states including: Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas and Indiana.

D2E doubles as a worship band for "The Crowd" Doing worship is one of D2E's favorite venues and in a worship "set" you might hear songs by artists like: David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill, Tim Hughes, Israel, Hillsong United, The Desperation Band, Charlie Hall, Steve Fee and more.

When it's time for fun, D2E will usually play a lot of familiar songs to get the crowd interacting with them and also breaking the ice somewhat.

Artists such as Relient K, Dc Talk, Switchfoot, TobyMac, and more can usually be heard during a concert. Along with cover songs, D2E will throw in a few original songs just to mix things up.
